Call for Proposals: Service Contracts – Leading a Peer Support Group
Facilitator of a peer support group (m/f/d) for:
1. Club employees,
2. Club management: department heads, general managers, and night managers,
3. Club members from the BiPOC community (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color)
The Club Commission has launched the "Mental Health in Clubs" project with the aim of, on the one hand, supporting clubs in strengthening the resilience and well-being of all staff and operators, and, on the other hand, offering preventive services—including workshops, training sessions, peer support groups, and counseling—tailored to the club culture starting in October 2024.
As part of the project, the Club Commission plans to launch three different peer support groups . This format involves a psychologically grounded self-help group in which people interact with one another as equals and actively listen to each other.
The group’s goal is to foster self-confidence and mutual support through peer support. This is achieved by creating a safe space for people who find themselves in similar life situations. The group aims to facilitate discussions on group-specific topics, mental health (depression, anxiety, addiction, etc.), and everyday issues.
The groups are to receive psychological/psychotherapeutic support (using a psychodynamic approach). For this reason, we are looking for a suitable facilitator for a peer support group for club executives (department heads, general managers, and night managers).
Contractors must have experience working in the club sector. In addition, the contractor for the peer support group should have experience in management and leadership, ideally within a club, though experience from other organizations is also acceptable.
