DAB Advanced Modules

In cooperation with the DAB Project (Diversity-Friendly Nightlife in Berlin), a series of in-depth workshops on awareness and diversity in the club context will take place in November and December for clubs and collectives.
These free workshops are aimed at club staff, club operators, and service providers in the club context who have already participated in one or more introductory workshops on awareness and diversity and have received training in the basics.

What makes these half-day in-depth modules unique is that they were developed by various experts with ties to the club scene and strongly incorporate the club work context through examples drawn from everyday work life. The modules are divided into three areas: Professional Role, Core Dimension, and Implementation.
This offers the opportunity to further your education within your respective field (programming, door, public relations, accessibility in clubs) or to gain in-depth knowledge on the various forms of discrimination within the core dimensions (gender, ethnic origin, classism/social status, sexual orientation, disability). Starting in December, we will also be able to provide you with access to an online lecture on the legal landscape of diversity in clubs within the Implementation/Organizational Development section.

Thu, Dec 8, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.: Diversity-sensitive work at the club door (in-person in Berlin)

All workshops are conducted in German and are free of charge.
