Sexism-Free Night: Bystander Chain Reaction Test

On November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we are launching our European campaign aimed at bystanders. This campaign is designed to raise awareness among partygoers and festival-goers about the importance of denormalizing sexism and sexual violence in nightlife settings, as well as to empower them—as participants and bystanders—to take action to prevent and discourage sexist behavior and sexual harassment.

Our goal is to inspire action, to encourage people without shaming or judging them, focusing on combating sexism through creativity, activism, and widespread testing. Most often, as bystanders, we don’t intervene because we simply don’t realize that the situation is affecting someone’s well-being, enjoyment, and safety, or because we feel socially or physically intimidated.

Therefore, by using an educational and interactive approach , we aim to foster a sense of shared responsibility and provide a variety of tools that allow for creativity and improvisation.
