Working student position: Project assistant for diversity-friendly nightlife in Berlin

Founded in 2001, Clubcommission is the central network and mouthpiece of Berlin's club culture.
Clubcommission is committed to ensuring that the interests of Berlin's club culture are taken into account by politicians, administrators, and business leaders. We provide impetus, set processes in motion, and connect stakeholders.
Clubcommission is a non-profit association (e.V.) based in Berlin. It is registered with the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) and is a member of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK).
The project "Diversity-friendly nightlife in Berlin – DAB" is a collaborative project between
Eine Welt der Vielfalt e.V. and Clubcommission e.V. and is funded by the
Senate Department for Justice, Consumer Protection and Anti-Discrimination and the
State Office for Equal Treatment – Against Discrimination. With its
comprehensive services, DAB is aimed at people who, due to their actual or
attributed group affiliations, are frequently affected by discrimination in clubs and
discotheques, as well as club staff and operators.
As a working student, you will collaborate on ongoing projects and support the
project management team in organizing and documenting project activities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Support in organizing the training program and other online
and offline events - Support in planning and organizing mailings and meetings
- General office tasks such as filing, processing mail, assisting with the preparation
of tenders and contracts - Assistance in creating topic-related presentations and in preparing
project proposals, reports, and public relations work
Text work in various formats for different target groups in German and English English
Requirements profile:
Master's or Bachelor's student in social sciences, political science, or cultural studies, or currently studying journalism and media studies, communication studies, cultural management, or a comparable relevant field of study.- Good knowledge of diversity/anti-discrimination issues and Berlin's club/event culture (
) . - Confident speaking and spelling skills in German and English
- a very careful, conscientious approach to work
- Confident use of standard MS Office and Internet applications
- Organizational skills, friendliness, and tact
- Knowledge and experience with office work
Your prospects:
- Flexible working hours: Within our working hours, you are responsible for managing your own time
. - Central office: The office is located directly above the Kit-Kat and Sage Club premises at the Heinrich-Heine-Straße subway station.
- Varied work: In addition to your duties, you will have the opportunity to get involved
in the diverse projects and initiatives of the Berlin Club Commission. - Family-like team: Our team is made up of experts with
a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences.
The weekly working hours are 20 hours. The monthly remuneration is based on
TV-Stud. The position is available immediately and is initially limited until
December 31, 2024.
