Nonviolent Communication Workshop
In this workshop, you will learn about the complexity of interpersonal communication, the pitfalls we encounter in everyday language, what appreciation means to us in communication, and how it can significantly help us improve our interactions.
Self-awareness is an essential component of this learning process. This ensures that participants do not simply adopt superficial, one-size-fits-all solutions aimed at improving their social image, but rather practice successful communication and conflict resolution.
In addition to providing basic information, the workshop offers ample opportunity to put what has been learned into practice and to practice the skills. Participants will also have the opportunity to bring their own club-specific cases and examples to discuss.
The target audience includes everyone who works in the nightlife or party scene, as well as those who actively participate in nightlife.
The workshop will be led by Sophie Kalau, a psychologist and trainer in nonviolent communication. Sophie’s work is characterized by a sensitive approach to issues of anti-discrimination, diversity, and empowerment.
The two-day free workshop is limited to 14 participants, will be conducted in German, and will take place on-site at the Clubcommission’s offices.
Wednesday and Thursday, October 20 and 21, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
