Workshop: Safer Use & Safer Sex with SONAR

Recreational substance use in nightlife is often intertwined with sexualized drug use, which is the use of psychoactive substances to break down inhibitions and enhance sexual feelings. People consume psychoactive substances comparatively frequently and are disproportionately affected by health problems, sometimes also due to this increased frequency and sexpositive settings. After a short introduction to substance knowledge, use/abuse, and possible support offers, this workshop opens the space for the discussion of current needs in relation to target group-oriented prevention and harm reduction.

Thursday, 11th of May 2023, from 11 am – 3.30 pm

The workshop will take place on site in Berlin and Moritz von Gerichten and Andrea Piest, both from SONAR Berlin

The workshop is aimed at everyone involved in nightlife, especially those who plan, organize and work at sexpositive events.
